Meet Dr. Josh

Doctor of Chiropractic, Fellow of the International Board of Functional Neurology, Co-owner of Infinity Functional Neurology.

Dr. Josh Madsen has studied hard and continues to grow and learn so as to best equip himself to better use functional neurology, chiropractic, and functional medicine to help children heal and have hope. He first received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from University of Northern Iowa. He then went on to become a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. As he continued to learn more and grow his knowledge, he studied Neurodevelopmental Delays from Carrick Institute of Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation, and Functional Neurology through Functional Neurology seminars, accredited through the National University of Health Sciences.

Meet Dr. Ashley

Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Functional Medicine Clinician

Dr. Ashley Wohlenhaus was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, before moving to South Dakota State University for her undergraduate studies, where she also played collegiate soccer. She later pursued her doctorate at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, earning her degree in Chiropractic. She is also Webster Certified, providing specialized care for pregnant mothers.

In addition, Dr. Ashley has completed extensive training in Functional Medicine, earning her Functional Medicine Clinician license with a focus on children experiencing developmental delays. Over the years, she has reviewed thousands of laboratory results from children worldwide, giving her unique expertise in identifying patterns and guiding families toward better outcomes through personalized care.

Beyond her professional work, Dr. Ashley has a passion for living a healthy, balanced life and sharing her knowledge with others. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, church, sipping good coffee, and playing soccer.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Meet Dr. Loren

Doctor of Chiropractic, Master's in Education

Dr. Loren Liming has a passion for movement, nutrition, development, and helping kids flourish. Originally from Ames, Iowa, he earned a degree in Exercise Physiology at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he also played basketball and engaged in a nationally recognized strength and conditioning program.

After graduation, Dr. Loren became the Associate Director of Fitness and Wellness at Winona State University, working with various athletic programs and youth development initiatives. His passion for health and movement led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland University. He also became certified in Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and holds a Master’s in Education Leadership. Dr. Loren has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in neurodevelopmental disorders and functional neurology. 

Loren and his wife, Kiley, are proud parents to three energetic boys. Together, they relish spending quality time as a family, whether it's exploring the outdoors, visiting parks, or simply enjoying precious moments at home.

 
 
 
 

Meet Dr. MAXWELL

Doctor of Occupational Therapy

Dr. Maxwell Honig earned his undergraduate degree in kinesiology with a minor in international studies at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. After his time at Wayne he worked at an inpatient rehabilitation facility for five years, which lead him to develop a strong passion for advocacy and rehabilitation of individuals—particularly children—with neurological conditions.

Motivated by this growing passion, Dr. Maxwell went on to earn his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. During his doctoral program, he expanded his expertise in neurological care across a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient rehabilitation in Newark, New Jersey, and Salt Lake City, Utah. He also gained experience in pediatric inpatient, outpatient, and NICU care at the Children’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Maxwell is driven by continuing education and is currently expanding his expertise through advanced courses in functional neurology. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Maxwell enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Rachel. Together, they love hiking, tent camping, and making memories with family. Dr. Maxwell is thrilled to join the Infinity team as a compassionate resource for children and their families. 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Meet Dr. Tanner

Doctor of Chiropractic, Sports Medicine

Dr. Tanner Hemer grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he received his undergraduate degree in Movement and Exercise Science. He then went on to become a Doctor of Chiropractic by attending Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa. 

Dr. Tanner is passionate about health, wellness, and how the body develops. His initial roots were in traditional chiropractic care, sports medicine and performance, as well as acupuncture. Dr. Tanner has since dedicated hundreds of hours to advancing his education and understanding of functional neurology, with a specialized focus on neurological and motor development.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Tanner finds joy in exploring the outdoors, watching sports and staying active through regular exercise. His life is enriched by moments with his beautiful wife, Rachel, and their beloved dog. Together their adventures reflect his belief in the importance of a balanced and fulfilling personal life.

 
 
 

Meet Dr. Matt

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Matt Rich was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas. He earned his undergraduate degree in Health Science from Sterling College before going on to complete his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. In addition to his chiropractic training, Dr. Matt is certified in Acupuncture and Webster Technique, and he has completed over 150 hours of advanced training through Functional Neurology Seminars.

Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Dr. Matt chose chiropractic care as a way to make a lasting impact on people’s health and quality of life. He values building strong relationships with his patients and takes pride in being part of their journey toward improved well-being.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Matt enjoys spending time outdoors, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Nebraska Huskers, and being active in his church community. He and his wife are proud parents to their son and love creating meaningful memories as a family. Meet Dr. DONOVAN

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Donovan Salgado was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a chiropractor who focuses on helping patients through the neurodevelopmental side of chiropractic care. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa after completing his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health at Iowa State University.

He has additional training in Activator Methods and is continuing his education in Functional Neurology. Dr. Donovan is passionate about supporting neurological development, improving function, and guiding rehabilitation.

Outside of the office he enjoys many things. From admiring cars of all types, to antique store visits, and lots of outdoor activities. He is an avid Miami Dolphins and ISU Cyclones fan. He enjoys doing all of these things with his long term girlfriend by his side. Dr. Donovan considers himself honored to be a part of such a great team at Infinity. The care, compassion and knowledge he is gaining here makes him excited to help families from all walks of life.

 
 
 
 
 

Meet Jaime

Registered Nurse

Jaime graduated from Mercy College of Health Sciences in 2000 and has spent much of her career serving children and families as a registered nurse in both the pediatric intensive care unit and the pediatric emergency room. After her own experience with a chronic illness, Jaime felt called to shift her focus toward holistic health—a journey that led her to join Infinity in 2019.

Passionate about empowering others to take charge of their wellness, Jaime loves sharing what she has learned through both her professional expertise and personal healing journey. She finds great fulfillment in helping others better understand and manage their health.

Outside of work, Jaime enjoys watching her children play sports, traveling to new places, and reading a good book. Her blend of clinical knowledge, holistic perspective, and compassion for families makes her a valued part of the Infinity team.

 
 
 

Meet ABBY

Therapist

Abby is originally from South Carolina and graduated with her undergrad in Behavioral Sciences and Family and Consumer Sciences from Liberty University. She holds a certification as a Chiropractic Assistant (CA). She has worked with hundreds of kids in her two years at Infinity and has totaled over 200 hours of continuing education in functional neurology and primitive reflex training. She has headed up the development of the home program system and contributed to developing courses for parents and practitioners. She is passionate about consistently learning and growing in functional neurology to be able help provide the best care possible for everyone that comes through the clinic. Her goal through therapy is to connect personally with each person she sees, make therapy fun and effective, and connect missing pieces to help the brain function effectively.


In 8th grade, she sustained a traumatic brain injury as well as having a family member with a traumatic brain injury. Through these experiences, she developed a passion for helping others in similar situations. She has always loved working with children and is so blessed she can combine her passions and bring hope to children and families through Infinity! In her free time, Abby enjoys serving in her church’s ministries, spending time with friends and family, fitness, being outside, and cooking.

 
 
 
 

Meet AlEx

Therapist

Alex has been a Registered Nurse for almost 15 years. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse and has worked in general pediatrics, behavioral health, and in complex medical homes and facilities. She is passionate about trauma-informed care, informed consent, holistic wellness, and helping others thrive.

In her free time, Alex enjoys being a mother, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, watching football, going on bike rides, and anything outdoors.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Meet Natalie

Therapist & Functional Medicine Coach

Natalie Smith is an Iowa Native, raised in Carlisle, IA. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Physiology and is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.

In order to best support our patients, Natalie has completed additional training to become a Certified Chiropractic Assistant (CA.) Along with this, she has over 100 hours of continuing education in primitive reflex and functional neurology training. She is committed to continuing to gain more knowledge in functional neurology and functional medicine in order to provide the best possible care for our patients and their families. 

As a Health Coach, Natalie is excited to share her knowledge and passion for health, wellness, and sustainable, healthy habits with our patients here at Infinity! She is available for Infinity patients/parents that are looking for clarity, guidance, and support regarding recommendations made from lab testing. If you’re not sure where to start/what to prioritize first or even if you’re just looking for healthy food alternatives, she’s happy to help give you resources/new ideas and make sure you’re clear on the best next action step to keep moving forward! 

Outside of work, Natalie loves jamming out to all kinds of music, spending time outside (especially to play volleyball,) and spending time with her boyfriend, two cats, and her family who all thankfully still live in Central Iowa! 

 
 
 

Meet Christine

Occupational Therapist

Christine grew up in Minnesota and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. She then continued her schooling in St. Paul at St. Catherine's University where she received her Master's of Occupational Therapy degree. She has completed specialized training in pelvic floor therapy and is working towards pursuing additional training in functional neurology to expand her practice.

She has worked in various health settings including acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, long term-care and home health. She is excited to be working with children again and looks forward to adding creativity to therapy sessions based on a child's interest and needs. Outside of work, Christine enjoys cooking, camping, spending time with her family, friends and her golden retriever, Yogi.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Meet TAYLOR

Therapist

Taylor grew up in Davenport, Iowa, and earned his degree in education and biological sciences from the University of Northern Iowa. He holds certifications as a Certified Optometric Vision Therapist (COVT) and Chiropractic Assistant (C.A.), with extensive training in neuromotor development and behavioral vision concepts—totaling over 300 hours of continuing education. 

At Infinity, Taylor is passionate about working with patients and their families providing personalized care that aligns with their health goals. He takes pride in making therapy engaging and effective, balancing patience and motivation while educating families along the way.

Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending his time outdoors, exercising, cooking and quality time with his wife and family.

A graduate of Grand View University with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion, Taylor is passionate about fitness, holistic health, and empowering others to become the best version of themselves. She thrives on helping patients make meaningful progress and loves the opportunity to be a part of their journey, celebrating every small win along the way. With a natural ability to connect with children and a strong dedication to learning, Taylor is a valuable part of our care team. Her enthusiasm, empathy, and eagerness to learn shine through in every patient interaction.

Outside of work, she enjoys being outside, spending time with friends and family, reading a good book cuddled up with her two cats and playing volleyball.
