Meet Dr. Josh
Doctor of Chiropractic, Fellow of the International Board of Functional Neurology, Co-owner of Infinity Functional Neurology.
Dr. Josh Madsen has studied hard and continues to grow and learn so as to best equip himself to better use functional neurology, chiropractic, and functional medicine to help children heal and have hope. He first received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from University of Northern Iowa. He then went on to become a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic. As he continued to learn more and grow his knowledge, he studied Neurodevelopmental Delays from Carrick Institute of Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation, and Functional Neurology through Functional Neurology seminars, accredited through the National University of Health Sciences.

Meet Dr. Ashley
Doctor of Chiropractic, Certified Functional Medicine Clinician
Dr. Ashley Wohlenhaus was born and raised in Kenora, Ontario, and moved to South Dakota State for her undergraduate where she played soccer.
She went to Chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis and is also Webster Certified for pregnant mothers!
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, church, coffee, and soccer. Dr. Ashley has a passion for everything about health and teaching others what she knows.
Meet Dr. Loren
Doctor of Chiropractic, Master's in Education
Dr. Loren Liming has a passion for movement, nutrition, development, and helping kids flourish. Originally from Ames, Iowa, he earned a degree in Exercise Physiology at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he also played basketball and engaged in a nationally recognized strength and conditioning program.
After graduation, Dr. Loren became the Associate Director of Fitness and Wellness at Winona State University, working with various athletic programs and youth development initiatives. His passion for health and movement led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland University. He also became certified in Webster Technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and holds a Master’s in Education Leadership. Dr. Loren has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in neurodevelopmental disorders and functional neurology.
Loren and his wife, Kiley, are proud parents to three energetic boys. Together, they relish spending quality time as a family, whether it's exploring the outdoors, visiting parks, or simply enjoying precious moments at home.
Meet Dr. Ryan
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Ryan Blumer has spent his career and is passionate about working alongside patients with neurological conditions such traumatic brain injuries, vestibular and oculomotor impairments, post-concussion syndrome, strokes, Parkinson’s disease, and many others. He loves that he can be an integral part of a patient’s journey in their recovery and improvement process through Physical Therapy.
Dr. Ryan earned an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa. He then continued his schooling at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and has a certification through the American Institute of Balance in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion.
During his free time, you can find Dr. Ryan spending time with his beautiful wife and two children as well as fishing, hunting and doing anything outdoors. He is excited to be a part of the Infinity Functional Neurology team and provide his unique skills in Physical Therapy to help those in need.
Meet Dr. Tanner
Doctor of Chiropractic, Sports Medicine
Dr. Tanner Hemer grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa, where he received his undergraduate degree in Movement and Exercise Science. He then went on to become a Doctor of Chiropractic by attending Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Tanner is passionate about health, wellness, and how the body develops. His initial roots were in traditional chiropractic care, sports medicine and performance, as well as acupuncture. He has since continued his education and become more immersed into the realm of functional neurology and is excited to be joining the Infinity family!
Outside the clinic, Dr. Tanner finds joy in exploring the outdoors, watching sports and staying active through regular exercise. His life is enriched by moments with his beautiful wife, Rachel, and their beloved dog. Together their adventures reflect his belief in the importance of a balanced and fulfilling personal life.
MEET DR. KIM
Physical Therapist
Dr. Kim Brimeyer is originally from northwest Iowa, where she grew up on a family farm outside of Lake View. She has completed specialty training in women’s health and is currently pursuing additional training in functional neurology to expand her practice and enthusiasm for a comprehensive physical therapy model. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa and became a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Des Moines University.
Meet Jaime
Registered Nurse
Jaime has been a Registered Nurse for 20 years and has worked in the PICU and Pediatric Emergency Room. When she decided to cut back her hours at the hospital to be with her family, she missed working with children and joined Infinity!
In her free time, she can be found at a ballgame, spending time at her family farm, traveling, biking, or reading anything on holistic health. She loves helping others manage their health and enjoys talking about all that she has learned over the years!
Meet Ally
Therapist
Ally grew up in a small town outside of Omaha and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with her bachelors degree in psychology. Her favorite part of her job is seeing her patients grow and succeed, and cheering them on along the way. In her free time she enjoys playing sand volleyball, watching the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and spending time with her friends and family.
Meet Abby
Therapist
Abby is originally from South Carolina and graduated with her undergrad in Behavioral Sciences and Family and Consumer Sciences from Liberty University. She is passionate about consistently learning and growing in functional neurology to be able help provide the best care possible for everyone that comes through the clinic.
In 8th grade, she sustained a traumatic brain injury as well as having a family member with a traumatic brain injury. Through these experiences, she developed a passion for helping others in similar situations. She has always loved working with children and is so blessed she can combine her passions and bring hope to children and families through Infinity! In her free, Abby enjoys serving with middle schoolers and children in her church’s ministries, spending time with friends and family, being outside, and cooking.
Meet AlEx
Therapist
Alex has been a Registered Nurse for almost 15 years. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse and has worked in general pediatrics, behavioral health, and in complex medical homes and facilities. She is passionate about trauma-informed care, informed consent, holistic wellness, and helping others thrive.
In her free time, Alex enjoys being a mother, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, watching football, going on bike rides, and anything outdoors.
Meet Natalie
Therapist
Natalie Smith is an Iowa Native, raised in Carlisle, IA. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Physiology and is a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.
Prior to joining Infinity Functional Neurology, she worked as a Health Coach in a Functional Medicine Clinic based in Iowa City. She is excited to bring her knowledge and passion for health, wellness, and sustainable, healthy habits into her role here.
Outside of work, Natalie loves jamming out to all kinds of music, spending time outside (especially to play volleyball,) and spending time with her boyfriend, Anthony, and her family who all thankfully still live in Central Iowa!
Meet Christine
Occupational Therapist
Christine grew up in Minnesota and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. She then continued her schooling in St. Paul at St. Catherine's University where she received her Master's of Occupational Therapy degree. She has completed specialized training in pelvic floor therapy and is working towards pursuing additional training in functional neurology to expand her practice.
She has worked in various health settings including acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, long term-care and home health. She is excited to be working with children again and looks forward to adding creativity to therapy sessions based on a child's interest and needs. Outside of work, Christine enjoys cooking, camping, spending time with her family, friends and her golden retriever, Yogi.
Meet TAYLOR
Therapist
Taylor grew up in Davenport, Iowa. He attended the University of Northern Iowa where he studied health promotion education and biology. After moving to Des Moines he earned his certification as an optometrist vision therapist.
During his free time, Taylor enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.
